ORGANIC SKINCARE RECIPES
Avocado Facemask
Did you know that avocados are rich in essential fatty acids, minerals and vitamins A, B, C and E? It’s because this super-food is so rich in nutrients. that we choose to use organic avocado oil as one of the key ingredients in our mother and baby skincare.
Not only are these green beauties great to eat, they are also suitable for do-it-yourself, organic beauty care. Try this recipe on a lazy Sunday, apply the facial treatment then lay back in a warm bath tub for some time out.
For a luxurious face mask, mash the flesh of 1/2 an avocado with one tablespoon of organic honey. When the mixture is smooth and without lumps, apply to the face. I like to use a pastry brush and always keep one or two specifically for facial treatments. Allow the mixture to moisten the skin whilst you relax for approximately 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and a face cloth or your Aromababy Natural Baby Sponge, to reveal a more hydrated, glowing complexion.
Oat and Honey Facemask
Mix one teaspoon of organic oatmeal with one teaspoon of organic
honey, add one drop of rose geranium or French lavender essential oil and mix to a paste. Apply to the face using damp fingertips and massage using a gentle, circular motion. Rinse off with warm water to reveal super-soft, luminous skin.
