Launched as the first of its kind in 1994, our extensive collection of natural skin care is proudly still made in Australia – rich in certified organic, natural oils including calendula, evening primrose, avocado, rosehip and natural vitamin e. At AROMABABY® we take our babies very seriously and so, choose to specialise in the wonderful world of baby care, pregnancy/maternity, post natal and new parent products and services.
Created as a world-first, offering only the gentlest of baby skincare including unscented product, all AROMABABY® baby skincare contains no petro-chemicals, added colour (artificial or otherwise), artificial fragrance, lanolin, dairy or goats milk or animal by-products, propylene glycol, parabens, sulphates, cocoamphodiacetate, talc, synthetic vitamin e, silicones (dimethicone and others) and so much more. Also left out in the cold are natural vegetable oils which have been solvent extracted or those which are potentially linked to skin irritation, for example, peanut oil.
In place of potential irritants that we’ve rejected from our formulations, you will find certified organic and/or pesticide free ingredients including rosehip oil, natural vitamin e, avocado oil, jojoba, calendula, evening primrose, sunflower, essential oils and more. In our baby-soft powders you will find soothing, certified organic oat and soy powders, edible-grade cornstarch and pure essential oils. Together our hand-picked ingredients have been combined to produce this ultra gentle and soothing mother and baby skincare range which has proven beneficial for soothing and protecting even the most sensitive skin throughout our 25 years thus far.
As responsible manufacturers, at AROMABABY® we respect research and have identified the need to offer both our customers and those health professionals using AROMABABY® products, a choice in baby care options. In addition to our therapeutic-grade aromatic product, we therefore also provide ultra-gentle, unscented (essential oil free) product, ideal for your baby’s first few weeks of life – where some studies have shown bland, unscented product or simply water may be best. It is only in select AROMABABY® product, therefore, that pure essential oils have been specifically chosen and blended synergistically not only for their therapeutic properties, but also to delight the senses and soothe the soul.
A leader in her field, AROMABABY® founder, Catherine Cervasio is a qualified Aromatherapist, trained Infant Massage Instructor, published writer and educator. She has personally handpicked specific ingredients from particular geographic regions for both their therapeutic properties and efficacy, further enhancing the benefits of these unique products.
Born of a desire to use eco-friendly, natural baby skin care and pregnancy products for her own first motherhood experience 25 years ago, Catherine developed an entire concept which would go on to set the standard for many baby skincare options world-wide.
The philosophy behind the creation of AROMABABY® is one that demonstrates an on-going commitment to research and subsequent development of innovative, effective personal care products specifically for mother and child, using research as a guide. At AROMABABY® we are aware of the need to minimise the world’s waste and we therefore aim to avoid the use of senseless outer packaging, decorative boxes and the like. We manufacture locally in Australia to reduce our carbon footprint, use recyclable and/or recycled materials wherever possible and encourage our customers to do the same. The end result is a range of beautiful, gentle and effective natural and organic skincare products that are kind to the skin and also to our environment.
